What a gift.., 4 days of rain in July!

Texas summers are scorchers! Lake levels go low, huge cracks open up in grassy areas and the tar that patches the roadways actually bubble up. It is a constant battle to keep things green. We had great luck this month with much needed rainfall!

Rain is always welcome in Texas, especially in the summer. Our water tank is close to half way filled. We are hoping that will help us out until the cooler days of September. Farming and gardening are very tied to the weather, rainfall and seasons. It keeps us in tune with nature and the environment, which is always a good thing. Fingers crossed for more summer rains, but you never know in Texas.
