Farm Chores And A Summer Work Day

As the temperature heats up, our plants wear out.  So, who better to help spruce up the farm than our Master Gardener friends. They are a machine! The Master Gardeners are great at assessing what needs to be done and then getting it done. We had several families join in the fun and ten teachers dig in too. The first day was spent ripping out the tomatoes and plants that weren't doing well and then on the second day we planted our Fall tomatoes and watered everything really well. We had a great turnout and a lot of fun!

Our partnership with the Master Gardeners has been wonderful and they are always there to lend a hand. Our teachers and students continue to learn so much from them. We couldn't do it without their support! Thanks Master Gardener friends, teachers and farm families for giving up your summer morning and helping out with the farm chores. We love our community and our farm!
