National Green Apple Day of Service 2015

It never ceases to amaze me when our community, both near and far gather at the Farm to dig in and accomplish the many tasks that are involved in sustaining our program. Without our community, we are nothing. So here is to the many who came out and moved mountains to get our Farm ready for Fall planting. E I E I O..., It's off to school to grow.

Thanks for all who showed up and dug in! We love your support!

A Big Week Of Learning & Our Chicks Have Names

Things are getting busy on the Farm. Lots of classes have come out to work and learn in the fields. Kinder has learned about their sense of sight and Primary classes have learned about Rules & Tools. We are so lucky to have this amazing hands on learning environment where kids are able to connect to nature and apply the science that they learn in their classroom to make their learning coming alive.

We Love Whole Foods!

We love our partnerships with Whole Foods Park Lane! Since beginning our path down the road of growing healthy kids, we have worked with them on several events. Whether it be painting projects, garden building, chalk murals, Earth Day celebrations, smoothie making or Healthy Teacher programs, we always learn and enjoy spending time with our friends from Whole Foods.

So, when they asked us to come to their store to share stories about our farm, we were quick to jump in on that invitation! Not only does our farm teach kids the about the Earth, the importance of eating healthy, and science, but it also opens the door to many leadership opportunities.

It was a great day and we were well received, which is always the case when there are kids and chickens involved.

Thanks Whole Foods! We can't wait until our next event!
