Fall Into Learning On The Farm

Fall is the time of year when the temps drop and the farming gets a little easier, especially with the wet weather that we have been having. The cooler temperatures are kind to the plants, soil and chickens so we have time to enjoy our harvest and learn about the changing season.

We studied erosion, the water cycle and are touching on rocks, soil this week. The chickens are enjoying the Fall weather and are back to cranking out eggs. We get 5-6 each day, so look for them at our pop up sale at the next Farm Round Up. Yum!

Ask the kids about their Farm lessons. They will have a lot to report!
