Green Apple Day Of Service 2014

This year marked our third anniversary for our Green Apple Day of Service on the Farm. Several businesses, American Heart Association, Dallas Master Gardeners, Whole Foods and our local community came out to spruce up and build up our farm. It was a great day and we were able to rebuild our garden beds, amend soil, weed out The Giving Garden and plant some Fall crops. All ages joined in and once again showed us that many hands make light work. It was also a lot of fun!

Thanks to all who give to our farm! It makes us all the better for it!  E I E I O....,

Green Apple Day Of Service - Year 2

A farm needs more than soil, sunshine and water. There are many things that go on behind the growing. The kids have hands on experience working the fields, beds and tending to the chickens, but it still takes more than that. Luckily, a few times a year, we have events where families, businesses and community leaders come out and give us a hand. This year we had over 150 volunteers help out and dig in for our 2nd Annual Green Apple Day Of Service. We accomplished so much and met some new friends along the way.

Digging in and giving back is good for the soul. We are so thankful for all of the support that keeps coming our way!
E I E I O...., We just continue to grow!
Thanks everyone!
