Working Outside Captures Imaginations

With the arrival of fall and farm chores slowing down a bit, our school farmers take time to enjoy the freedom to discover things found in the dirt, on tree limbs or hidden under leaves. This time of the year gives us opportunity to discover and imagine while being in close contact with the Earth and all of the wonders that are working out on our farm. It is fun, but the lessons that we learn are many. In fact, often times we have to rely on technology and ask google for answers to the questions that come up while connecting to nature. We are learning not only about the Earth, but about ourselves and each other and each trip to the farm presents us with surprises that we never would have thought of. There is never a dull moment as we make memories and learning connections out on our school farm.

We can't wait to get back out to discover more about the Earth and each other. E I E I O...,
