Thursday night was Open House. It's that annual event where kids clean their desks, lay out their best work and teachers reapply their lipstick to great families in the evening. This year, Open House was a memorable one for our school community because a baby chick hatched during the event, as if on cue.
Kids and parents gathered around to get a look for themselves of the miracle of a chicken hatching from an egg. Cell phones came out and videos were shot and we are sure that they were posted on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Mrs. Pillers is the proud teacher of the first arrival this Spring!
We are hoping that there are more on the way as we continue Hatching Healthiness at Moss Haven Elementary!
