I was so excited to find out that I was selected to represent the United States as a Delegate to the Slow Food International Congress in Chengdu, China, It was a great honor to work with 400 other Delegates, from ninety different countries who are passionate about our food system, equality and our environment. My circle of friendship and connections grew globally and so did I. My take away from this experience is that we really are one world dealing with many of the same food and climate issues, and most importantly, we are stronger together! This opportunity has changed my views and fueled my fire to educate people about the problems and solutions of repairing our planet and each other. More to come for sure!
