The weather finally dried up this week and we were able to get out to the Farm. With Spring in full gear there are so many curriuclum connectors to apply to lessons taught in the classroom. Learning about environments where bugs can be found to the difference between juicing and smoothies were some of the topics covered this week. 6th grade stepped out to learn about our new USDA beds and dig in and tend to our Give Away Garden too. Our special guests this week were RISD Elementary Superintendent, Dr. Chris Goodson as well as our Partners In Health from Whole Foods Park Lane. I can't wait for next week! E I E I O...,
