We have so much to be thankful for on our school farm. One of the most important things are our partnerships! We have been fortunate to align our goals of growing healthy kids and caring for the Earth with many organizations, both near and far. We are doing a great job of teaching kids to care for the farm, themselves and each other and that is getting noticed. We are thankful for The American Heart Association, who started us growing and continues to lend a hand. The Richardson ISD, who has given us our farm space and kept us on the track of being sustainable. The Cooper Clinic and United Way Of Metropolitan Dallas, who recognizes and supports our Healthy Zone School. Fuel Up To Play 60 and Dairy Max who help us be mindful of working and fueling our body in healthy ways. The Dallas County Master Gardeners who give their time and know how for the best crops ever. Plains Capital Bank who donated seed money to support our program. Our staff, neighborhood and administrators who help support our program in many ways. Then we have our newest partners, The USDA and The North Texas Food Bank, who will help us continue to grow our program as well as give back to those who are less fortunate. It was a great day of celebrating our 4th growing seasons and the friends that we have made along the way!
#GrowingGoodness #HatchingHealthiness We are well on our way!
